I are a game designer!
(Or, Those Who Can't Game, Design!)

I entered this month's Ronnies. My game is here: General Mud. I talk a little about the game and the contest in the 20 by 20.

I hope you win The Two Ronnies!

Robotnik, while I am RPiGnorant... that looks very cool...

Whoa, old britcom reference. Hee. I had to Google to see who they were. Thanks.

For some reason, Terry was a fan... go figure...

24(ish) hours?! Holy crap, dude. That's, like, up there with Ivan's 24 hour game.

High praise, indeed. Thanks!

I totally want to play this, and it sounds pretty polished and workable. I really like the dice mechanic. It sounds like you had a lot more than 24 hours to work on it.

Huh. That's really slick.

There is no way to put out Mud dice in the Revolution round right? It sorta half-mentions mud dice, but never says how to get/use them.

It's certainly desrving of a Ronnie.

Good eye. That's something I changed partway through - originally you could use Mud dice in the Revolution round, then I thought it would be better if they didn't come in until the Trials - not sure why in retrospect - but the text is a little schizophrenic on that subject.

I was toying around with an Animal Farm-esque rpg using the pig-shaped dice from 'Pass the Pigs' awhile back... never could figure out a dice mechanic to use them though. ;)

Can't wait to have time to give it a read- love the layout and pics on the first scroll through though! Well done!

Oh... my... god... R--, you must do this... perhaps in the expansion...

Hee! That's a great idea, the pig dice.

So, as promised, I went back and looked at the game. You know me, though - I'm interested in the storyline part of games, not mechanics, so I really didn't get into that too much. But I like it - it sounds fun. Which, to me, is my number one criteria for games. I'd play it!
