Einstein's Clocks, the book I spent a summer researching for one of my advisors, is out, and boo-ya, it landed a rave review and the cover of the New York Times Sunday book section. (Free registration required to view site, I think.) Astonishingly, the reviewer does not mention the dedicated and strikingly handsome research assistants that made it all possible. Nevertheless, it is great buzz for a brilliant book.

Sounds like an interesting book. Is this guy in the History of Science department? I got all psyched for the one History of Science class I took at Harvard (it was Medieval Science), but the professor was possibly the most boring individual ever to have lived.

He has a joint appointment in the Physics Dept and the History of Science Dept I believe. There are some soporific profs around the Yard, I know (believe me), but if your Hist of Sci prof was boring, it definitely wasn't Peter.

I was reading the NyTimes this morning thinking "now that sounds like a cool book!" Didn't rememebr that was the one you did research for.
