Yes. CanLit cliches and also Canadian TV drama. I wish I still had that zine article I read years ago about the various subsidies available to Canadian film production that showed mathematically how anybody (I don't mean anybody working in film, I mean any random person on the street) NOT engaged in making a made-for-TV movie about growing up on the Prairies was losing money.
