The Western Art wing of the Tokyo National Museum includes Monet's "Water Lilies". Not only were there no line-ups, but I was the only person in the room for a short while. I was able to get real close, even put my head against the wall beside it for a bit so I could take in how sculpted the painting was. To prevent freaking out like Cameron in "Ferris Beuller's Day Off", I went and paid a young woman to walk on my back for half an hour. She was pretty cool, but she kept laughing at the hair on my ass.
