Geek Ethical Quandary

So Lisa and I have plans to see The Two Towers next week. No fixed plans, just "Ooh boy, aren't you excited to go see The Two Towers next week?" "You betcha!" But a friend just called and says he has one extra ticket to a matinee this afternoon. And I can't really get in touch with Lisa before deciding because she's in class.
